Repeated grounding of power cabinet:

The following places shall be installed with repeated grounding:

(1) The terminal of main line and branch line of overhead line, every 1km along the line and the place where the length of branch line exceeds 200m;

(2) The line is led into the surface distribution device of workshop and large building (entrance place);

(3) When the metal pipe wiring is used, the metal pipe is connected with the protection zero line and then the repeated grounding is made; when the plastic pipe wiring is used, the protective zero line is laid and the repeated grounding is made.

Function of repeated grounding

(1) To reduce the risk of electric shock on the zero connection equipment when the PE line or pen line is accidentally broken or the contact is poor.

(2) Reduce the load neutral point "drift" when pen line is broken.

(3) Further reduce the voltage to ground of accidental live equipment during fault duration.

(4) Reduce the duration of leakage fault.

(5) Improve the lightning protection performance of overhead lines.
